Privacy policy

What we store

When you create an account we store your email address and a hashed (never readable) password, or, if you continue with Google, your Google account ID, name and email address. We also store what you add in the app: your collections, sub-categories and items, your display name, chosen avatar, language and other preferences, your answers to the “Your taste” questions, your chats with Suite about your collections (including ones you archived by starting a new chat), the suggestions you turned down so they are not suggested again, and suggestions you report.

How it is used

Your data is only used to run the app: to sign you in, sync your lists between devices and make suggestions. We don’t sell it, show ads, or use analytics or tracking tools.

AI suggestions

When you tap “Ask Suite”, ask for collection ideas or chat with Suite, the names of your collections, the titles of their items, your “Your taste” answers, your chat messages and your language are sent to OpenAI to generate ideas and replies. Your email address and password are never sent. OpenAI processes this data under its API terms and doesn’t use it to train its models.

Emails

Confirmation and password reset emails are sent through Resend, which receives your email address for that purpose only. To stop abuse, we briefly keep counts of emails sent per email address and per IP address; they are deleted within a day.

Reporting suggestions

If an AI suggestion is offensive or harmful, tap ⚑ on it to report it. We store the reported suggestion and the reason you chose so we can review it and improve the suggestions. Reports are deleted with your account.

Where it is kept

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in a hosted MongoDB database. Your sign-in session, look and language are stored on your device.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Deleting your data

Delete your account any time in the app under Profile › Settings › Delete account. Your account, collections, items and reports are deleted right away and can’t be recovered. You can also delete single items and collections whenever you like.
